Join us for a passage along the south coast of Puerto Rico. We visit the anchorages of Ponce, Isla De Cardona, Cayo Puerca and Puerto Patillas. Find out how we incorporated mangroves into a homeschooling lesson, a bit of yoga on the move, and loads and loads of beautiful views of the sea, sun and sand.

  1. ok looking at it now,  it`s great to have kids on other yachts that get on well together. Well if they don't you just up and go , not like school were you have to stay.

  2. Another great video! What a blessing to be able to give your kids a chance to experience so much of God’s glorious creation !

  3. Yeap, kids that get to cruse end up with an education far better than any school. Great video! 😊⛵⛵⛵⛵⛵⛵⛵😊👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

  4. Hey SailingBritican, we loved your content and think your videos would make a great addition to our video of the month contest! By uploading your videos to you have the opportunity to win a wetsuit and a new surfboard and be featured on Outside TV! See you on Campfire!

  5. Looks like a lot of fun, loved the Sun Halo clips. I have only known of the use of Mangroves for hurricane protection and know lots ob boats that have used them.Good insite into what I did not know, trying to keep up with the kids.

  6. [Baz] As far as I can recall you guys have a Mantus anchor which should slice through the sea grass and dig in without problem. At least that's what Mantus advertises about their anchors. Did you also have a problem at this anchorage with sea grass and the Mantus not setting?

  7. Another Overlooked aspect of Anchoring is the length of chain out. 7:1 meaning 1 Boat length to 7 Chain Lengths will give you 70% holding power. So 10:1 will give You 100% holding Power…. At 36 Feet of boat, One would Need put out 360 feet of Chain on the Bottom…. Simply put the Less the VERTICAL Angle the Better the Holding Power. … Just try'n ta help

  8. Thanks guys great video. Love the way the children's education is non political. Currently in the bay of biscay waiting for a weather window to hop south . Ant and Cid xx
